The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) and MOAH:CEDAR are pleased to announce Art Where We Are: Celebrating Ten Years of Antelope Valley Walls™, a new exhibition co-curated by MOAH:CEDAR and Thinkspace Projects, opening August 1, 2026, at MOAH:CEDAR. The exhibition highlights artists connected to the Antelope Valley Walls™ initiative, formerly POW!WOW! Antelope Valley, their practice beyond large-scale murals, and the role they have played in shaping the visual identity of the Antelope Valley through art in public spaces.
Art Where We Are presents works by 30 artists that move beyond the mural wall, offering a closer look at the ideas and creative processes behind some of the region’s most familiar public artworks. This selection of work expands the understanding of how artists interpret place, memory, and community through their unique practices.

The community is invited to attend the Opening Celebration on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the MOAH:CEDAR campus, featuring live music, performances, games, and art activities celebrating the exhibition and the ten-year anniversary of Antelope Valley Walls™.
Anthony Hurd: Gentle Nature

On view within the exhibition is Anthony Hurd: Gentle Nature, a solo project that engages with themes of nostalgia, love, and authenticity, set against a backdrop of vibrant color and the natural world. Together, the two exhibitions create a conversation between public image-making and studio-based reflections.
