MOAH:CEDAR opened its Spirits show, highlighting work by local artists Johnny Dearest and Ricardo Cisneros.

Both Dearest and Cisneros explore the tension born of contrasts in their art, which is informed by their shared desire for an alternative to the material world. Featuring fantastic, ethereal imagery, Spirits addresses the exhibiting artists’ disillusionment with reality.
